Quick Start

EZRecorder© is an application for real time recording of all sound played back on your computer. With EzRecorder©, you can easily record broadcasts of your favorite Internet radio stations, your conversations in a voice chat, or any other sound your computer can play back. You can later save your recordings in AAC, MP3, OGG, or WMA format.

Below, you will find a step-by-step instruction on how to start working with EzRecorder©.

As soon as the recording has begun, EzRecorder© toggles the Live mode. In this mode, the sound fed to your speakers is the same as what is being recorded. You hear what is being cached during the recording process.

During the recording process, you can listen to previously recorded data. In the meantime, the recording continues.

Для воспроизведения записанного звука воспользуйтесь кнопками управления воспроизведением на главном окне To play back recorded sound, use the playback control buttons in the program main window. They work the same way as the respective buttons on your media player. To quickly move within the cache, you can use the slider located above the playback control buttons. Simply drag the slider to the desired position with the mouse. To accurately move the slider into a certain position, you can use the Play Position dialog. Double-click the playback time indicator in the program main window to open it.

After listening to recorded sound, you can toggle the Live mode again. To do that, press the respective   Live button in the main window.

To stop recording, press the   Stop Record button.

Now, you can choose several selections in the recording and save them in a format of your choice.

With EzRecorder©, you can view songs as cache bookmarks set at the beginning and at the end of recorded selection. The end of one song will not necessarily be the beginning of another. Songs can overlap.

To add a new song, press the   New Song button at the bottom of the playlist. To set the beginning of a song, select a song in the playlist, go to the desired cache position with the playback control buttons or the slider, and press the   Set Start Time button. To set the end of a song, go to the desired position and press the   Set Stop Time button.

To rename the selected song in the playlist, left-click its name, enter a new name, and press Enter.

To save a song in a desired format, select the song in the playlist and press the   Save Song button. This will open the Save Song dialog.

Here, you can specify a file name to be saved, file format, and format settings. Also, you can save additional information about the file.

The   Delete Song button deletes the selected song from the playlist. The   Clear Playlist button deletes all songs. This does not delete the cached data. To empty the cache, press the   Reset button.

To have the program main window always available on screen, press the   Always On Top button. Now the EzRecorder© main window will be displayed over the other windows on your desktop. To disable this mode, press the   Always On Top button once again.

You do not have to manually stop the recording and toggle the Live mode before closing EzRecorder©. This is done automatically during the program shutdown.
